[contentblock]Scotserve IT Limited was formed to amalgamate a number of different services, having been involved in computer services since the early 80’s we had developed a number of different “brands” namely Alba Trading, Scotserve, Ireg and SpamSlayer, this was for a small company becoming unwieldy so we brought everything under one banner. In our early days we catered for the home market and at that time the fledgling small business market, we were early adopters of BBS (Bulletin Board Systems ) and early communication ALA war games type. [p] Early forays into “Internet” consisted of setting up email accounts for clients on AOL and Compuserve but very quickly moving into our own internet based services. A member of Nominet ( The UK domain registry) for over 20 years providing hands on advice and support on domain registration. [p] Initially reselling other companies services it became apparent that we would not be able to offer the bespoke service we now do without running and operating our own servers and now proudly provide a wide range of hosting solutions for the small business sector ( and some larger companies) in the UK and overseas.

Disk space may not be used for storage outside of the needs of the website, this includes but is not restricted music and video file libraries, nor should it be used for repetitive backups [/p]
